I had my eye on wanting to photograph a wedding at Maison May on Dekalb Ave in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene, Brooklyn. When Liz & Kate reached out to me to document their wedding celebration, I was over the moon. I  loved everything about their wedding day. I think Maison May is the quintessential Brooklyn wedding event space; the pretty brownstone with an intimate backyard ceremony space with the big tree in arching over, all the well wishes the couple receives from neighborhood locals, portraits on the pretty tree lined brownstone streets.. gah, i love it all. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge has also fast become one of my favorite hotels for a couple to get ready at – the floor to ceiling windows with amazing views of Manhattan and being able to get up on the rooftop for some pictures is a nice little bonus.
