Liza and Alex travelled over from the UK to marry at the Manhattan City Clerks Office (City Hall). They booked into the amazing Beekman Hotel that is located in downtown, with about a 10 minute walk to the Clerks Office. I met up with Alex in the Temple Bar at Temple Court at the bottom of the hotel for drink before heading up to Eliza’s room to get a few photographs with her family. The men headed off to the Clerks Office, where we then meet them up outside in the ‘wedding garden’ for Alex Liza’s first saw each other that day. We headed inside and it was a super quiet day at the clerk’s office – their number was called within 2 minutes of walking inside (mid week in the afternoon’s are generally the quietest of the week). After their I do’s (we were in & out in about 15 minutes, the quickest i’ve ever seen it) – we sent the family off for a drink at a bar while we wandered the East Village street for some portraits before joining back up with the family at Freeman’s Restaurant for their intimate wedding dinner.
